That information is ummm, secret. But since you did contribute (did I mention we add every contributers name to a the worlds largest free porn database?) I'll let you in on it.

jake wants to build a flat ramp with his pvc sheet, I want a floating boater ala the HR ramp.

I'm going to try to bust this thing out tomorrow morning but its basically a thin metal skeleton (think two triangles laying on their sides) and pvc pipe attached to metal cross braces via toggle bolts. I don't want to make it floating, but I think that is going to be the easiest way by far. Space for 2 55gallon drums underneath.

still working on a source of free drums...

Car washes and craigslist are the best options for barrels.

That would be awesome Chooch. The monkey is running out of hunting, gathering, and building energy.

Here's the spot on the Washougal I was thinking of. I took this picture from the road, so you can see it's a short ways to carry the winch. Maybe 50 yards... You can walk across the river to the island, so you could ride up either of the channels.

Nak, that place looks money!! I'm heading to bean town for the weekend but would love to hit that up next weekend.

I should have the "charlie slider" all built by then. Three separate sections that are going to all interconnect if you want them to for a total of 34 feet of continuous slider!!

"well what do you know, there is a candy mountain"

I'll be out of town next weekend... Sad It's really easy to find though. 1 minute from downtown Camas. Go into Camas on 3rd street. Go South at the Burgerville. The road winds left and then crosses the Washougal River. That's the spot. You can also just stay on 14. At the first light you come to, if you're coming from the West, turn left. Follow the road, it turns left in 2 blocks. Just stay on the road till it crosses the Washougal. Thats the spot. It's about 5 minutes from the Camas kite beach.

During Salmon runs it's a VERY popular fishing hole. (I've seen a lot of Chinook taken out of there... ) Right now there's no fisherman.

You can't wade across it at the bridge, it's too deep. Down by the island you usually can wade across, until the water level rises with the rain anyway.

The Parker House is a great spot for happy hour after the session! Very Happy
