At Eclipse we feel that your purchase should be protected, not just from manufacturing defects but also from yourself. Kites no matter how well they are built are fragile items and can be damaged. With this in mind Eclipse has launched the Bullet Proof warranty which is the industry’s only warranty which offers unlimited no questions asked kite repairs for one year. That’s right every 2009 Eclipse kite is covered with this warranty at no additional cost.
Here’s how it works:
Register your kite on line at eclipsekites.com within 2 weeks of purchase.
In the event you damage your kite simply make a repair tag on eclipsekites.com and send your kite in for repair to one of the following locations bellow:
Airtime in Florida
Airtime in Oregon

Now that's a nice warranty! WTG Eclipse!
This is where it gets difficult to compare apples to apples on price and performance between brands where you are also juggling the intangibles. I also like the Caution model of recycling the old stuff on a trade in.
Be interesting to see if a standard warranty model evolves over the next couple of years. Kind of like the auto mfg's 5/year 50k limited power train warranty, or pay extra for the unlimited bumper to bumper coverage.

| I took advantage of the Eclipse warranty this summer when my kite hit a blackberry bush this year. Airtime was awesome and first tried patching and then just fully replaced the LE for free. Saweet! Saved a couple hundred bucks at least.

| Yes, though in my experience, if your choice is to send your kite Full Throttle into a blackberry bush or go home; then you should choose going home.
