Hey Gals!

It's getting cold and I'm thinking about kiteboarding in Baja! I'm doing two All-inclusive Women's Kiteboarding Camps Feb 2-7 and March 2-7 in La Ventana, Baja Mexico.

Food 2 meals/day in and 2 dinners out, accommodations at Palapas Ventana, 9 hours of kiteboarding instruction with me and the pro staff at Kitemasters Kite School, 2 Pilates sessions for kiteboarding strengthening & flexibility, and lesson and downwinder transportation. There are 8 spots open per session, reserved space at Palapas Ventana for my students.

Here are the details if interested: http://www.cascadekiteboarding.com/casc ... ding-blog/

And, by the way, the La Ventana Classic this winter is scheduled for Jan. 22-25, 2009.

So, I've had a couple requests from guys asking for a camp. This poses a much bigger question... Are guys open to group instruction or clinics? The women seem to respond really well to group instruction, but I wouldn't think so for guys... maybe too much competition and machismo in one setting? I don't know.

Do any of you dudes have an opinion on this? As a dude, would you be open to group instruction? Would the instructor being man or a woman make a difference? Please tell!

I'll be in La Ventana working for New Wind Kiteboarding Dec-March.
Lemme know if interest is big enough and we'll get something rolling.
See you guys down there after Texas.

Peace,

T.J.

I wouldn't mind learning as a group, and taught pairs of students while in college which seemed to work OK. As long as price as lower and learning experience is still good it seems worthwhile. There's so much to learn I'd feel like that would be the priority vs machismo, unless you're stupid.
