....kind of surprised to see no discussion here yet on your REV2s. I'm guessing, most people who wanted REVs already bought them and the changes aren't dramatic enough to cause you to switch over from the '08s. That said, I just got 'em. Smile

I was on T3s last year which I really liked and would recommend to most people. Less bar pressure than the T2s, great below the bar depower, etc. My main gripe with the Ts was that they slowed down way too much when you trimmed them in. So, unless I was perfectly sized in the ocean, I was stuck with a slow kite and not having as much fun as I wanted. So I kept my 7M T3 and traded the 11/14 in for 11/15 R2s.

Got to ride them each this weekend. They were a ton of fun and I really liked them, but that has already been discussed here on the REVs....the new point worth mentioning is the bar pressure adjustments.

Since I was accustom to the T3 bar pressure, I went out for my first 2 hours on the inside-most attachment point and found that the bar pressure was pretty much identical to my Turbos. Thus, I felt very comfortable on the kite - it was just more agile than my T3s. Good stuff. Thumb's Up

I came in and switched to the middle adjustment and found it to be a touch lighter, but still with some very good kite feel. I rode this way for another few hours and didn't try the outer setting (which I hear is the same or lighter bar pressure than the '08 REVs).

Since I didn't fly the '08 REVs I can't comment on differences, other than a fatter bar, which was nice.

I'll miss the insanely easy self launch/landing of the T3s (those thing just pivot in place and shoot up for you), but the behavior of the REV2s seems well worth it out of the bag. Looks like I'll be joining the other REVaddicts and will really be enjoying these kites.

Be curious to hear any other thoughts... But mainly, I just want to share the stoke with someone else who has been on them!

HERE is the wind graph when I was on the 11M. I was playing from 9 to 4:30ish.

Just picked mine up today......all black white and electric blue colour combos.
Haven't used them yet but having been on the '08 REVs all season, I'm expecting great things!!

love my rev2's, same thing about bar pressure, i just got back from a midwest trip, i rode big kites and loved the lighter bar pressure on them, had a windy day and rode with more bar pressure on a small kite. new grip is sweet on bar. new sx is a fun board again with killer new construction, better pop, smooth landings great in chop,
