Figured I'd warm up another thread to post the latest from the NW Grinch Crew...

Hard to beat the spot we've got going at the sandbar... easy to walk out the line, smooth flat water and The Slider Project features.. lined up for some good ol after work fun!!!

Was stoked to see that we not only had 4-5 riders rippin it up, but the peanut gallery was tight and brought out 10-15 people at times, to hang out, drink some beers and see what the Grinch Winch is all about.

Joby, Forrest and Jake are Killing it!! Joby going blind off the Pickle and nearly hitting the 3 off the kicker. Forrest was hitting solid front boardslides on the pickle and dialing in his grabs off the kicker. Jake was hitting some solid front board slide-1/2 cabs on the pickle and also solid on the kicker.

I was too much of a chicken for the pickle.. just a bit too intimidating, but was able to get over the hump and get some kicker time. WOW!! That shit is FUN!!! Crazy getting booted on a wakeboard in the Hood River while racing up toward the sandbar!!

The shot of Forrest below grabbing indy off the kicker, seemingly over a semi crossing the I84 Hood River Bridge is my fav and such a sick angle!! Looks like a solid wakeboard shot that makes you question how it was even possible... rope straight out, head high above the kicker.

SICK!!

Wakeboarding has come to the Gorge.. and it doesn't take a $60k boat to get some.. in fact, even better as the social scene is open to everyone. Just come down the the sandbar after work, bring a cooler and beach chair for the show, or your full suit and desire to ride to take some pulls.

Adam from the Hood River News stopped by last night and snapped some pics as well... should be something in this weekends Hood River Style section. Sweet!!

There are some more pics on Forrests camera.. was pretty late and dark when I pulled mine out.. but here is some idea of what's going down with the Winch in the Hood !!

We'll have the new NWGrinch website up soon for more pics or for those interested in ordering their own.. or you can PM me here for some info. Looking to get a few peop's together to go in on some.. as we can save almost $100/ea if we ship 2 or 3 at a time.

Sicks shots guys! Glad you're getting it. Forrest, that first pic is badass! You could build a foundation on top of that rope and it'd be level. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those BS boardslides?

Oh shit, I've been busted wearing Blake's board shorts... That'll teach him to leave them at my house... I'm a firm believer in Recycling. Razz

We've been going till dark, but if we had some lights, we'd go longer...

It's fun as shit!
