It's gusting to 37 at Skamania... The ponds are going to be stronger than that I think! Shocked Pressure diff is already .17, if it goes up higher RR might get nuked out today. (I think the highest it got yesterday was .15, but I might be wrong... At this time yesterday morning it was .08 ) Troutdale is already gusting to 29... Right now the water level is really low, so a long hike at BV. (Tide is coming in though...) Be careful out there guys! Very Happy

Got to rooster around 6:50 to an empty parking lot. Hiked down, pumped up, took some tacks on a 40.5" wake skate and called it around 8am.

Kind of crazy when you have an 8m fully depowered and it's still dragging you on your ass. Good thing those bushes are strong enough to hold a leash for the assist on the landing Thumb's Up

Should have gone to Viento...looked like good 12m when I went through around 8:45

I hear Viento works best when the east winds go this strong.

Nate. we ended up launching at BV.

Beautiful mt. Hood sunrise.
70 degrees and windy; Gman and I had the place all to ourselves
Nicely powered 7m soul session
Coast guard helicopter rescue of hapless boaters
8:00 thermal inspired nuc-tacular gusts to 40+
Pack it up and off to the office at 8:30

A tremendous herd of three Rolling Eyes
and we didn't even get to see Nate - bummer

We did get to see a cool helipicoter rescue - guess some fisherman got in trouble at the ponds in the 40kt gusts - must of come close to the Ludacris speed record on the skim - will not recreate
