What are you looking at Rico? Looks like it needs more time. Pressure is nice at .10

If the RR sensor is gusting into the teens, it's probably on. The sensor is in the parking lot where the winds are a lot lighter than on the water. My guess is that current winds at RR are in the mid 20s right now, maybe a bit higher.

Its ON right now! Very Happy

Forecast to go even higher... Troutdale is forecast to increase until 2:00, then a quick drop off. If that forecast is correct, RR will probably blow until 3:00?

I'm a newbee and wondering if I could make this run from Dalton Pt. to Rooster rock.
I've ridden to Port and Starboard and have transitioned to my left and right at Rooster Rock on a 20+ knot afternoon (11m waroo with instructor assist).
Would I be able to tag along with today's conditions on my 11m Waroo & Slingshot Glide board. Or should I just bring my kayak and boat over to the edge of the pond and practice there? I've had a few lessons with Kite the Gorge, Gorge Performance (Mr. Mixwell) and New Wind. Smile

This sensor says washougal but is really at the yellow thumb tack below here and is really good. I would guess already 5 or 7m, but maybe not windy yet at all Wink

Depending on your weight, an 11 might be too big today, especially with a Glide. Dalton to RR isn't all that far, but there aren't any real easy bailout points if you get in trouble. Just something to think about...

If you've got a Kayak, you're golden anyway! Very Happy If RR is too nuked out for your 11, check out reed island West of RR...

I'll be there between 11 and 12:30. Planning on a downwinder from Dalton to RR also.

I'm shooting to be there closer to 11am. Interested in some downwinder action for sure.
