That's pretty sick!
Definitely more dangerous and more consequences.. but also does make wake look that much more WOW!
Did anyone see the cover of this months Wakeboarder Magazine?! There is a winch shot, (from Bellingham WA- go NW!) where Nick Ennen is pulling off the top of like a 10' waterfall... one of the sickest wake shots I've ever seen.
Not necessarily advocating that kind of riding... or pushing it that far..
BUT.. I will shout out that the first Grinch Winch- Towing Device will arrive in the Hood early next week and the boys will be out in force figuring it out and sessioning- probably starting at the sandbar.
After speaking with the guys that make the Grinch at Distortion Boarding about getting some lightwind tow support for snowkite events.. it all led to realizing that they are still small and growing and need some support for growth out west..
So with the arrival of the first Grinch Winch in Hood River next week, Tekko and NW Liquid are the official Distortion Boarding - Grinch Winch Rep and Direct Sales.
I imagine, if it works as well as we all are hoping.. (just check out that Redbull Video) then they will be available at 2nd Wind and other top board sports shops in the near future. Until then.. Anyone interested should contact me about getting Hooked Up!!

I doubt anyone is using these for urban rails for ski or snowbaord but that could be a revolution.

We have one at our test center in OBX, we were using it last week at our annual meeting!
2000 feet of cable makes for a fun ride!
