I think its gonna be West until Sunday...the good news is that you get to wake up early on your day off to get it at RR

Friday:
A weak ridge builds over the region setting up easterly gradients. At this point the gradients look weak and Stevenson should only build into the 16-20 range, Rooster Rock slightly lighter. Central and Eastern Gorge sites should be light. Jones Beach looks light. Sauvie Island northerly in the 9-13 range. North Coast NNW 10-14 Central Coast NNW 12-16, Florance to Floras Lake NNW 16-20, South of Cape Blanco NNW 18-22. NW swell 8 feet at 10 seconds

ORZ009-WAZ023-252200-
WESTERN COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE-
INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...ROOSTER ROCK...CASCADE LOCKS...HOOD
RIVER...STEVENSON...CARSON...SKAMANIA
940 AM PDT THU SEP 25 2008

TODAY...SHOWERS LIKELY. HIGHS AROUND 65. WEST WIND 5 TO 15 MPH...EXCEPT 15 TO 25 MPH NEAR HOOD RIVER.

TONIGHT...PARTLY CLOUDY. LOWS 45 TO 50. WEST WIND 10 TO 15 MPH BECOMING LIGHT AFTER MIDNIGHT.

FRIDAY...PARTLY SUNNY. WARMER. PATCHY FOG IN THE MORNING. HIGHS 70 TO 75. LIGHT WIND BECOMING WEST 10 MPH IN THE AFTERNOON.

On the other hand, Airnet is calling for light Easterlies at Troutdale Friday AM. So I'm thinking it'd a resounding Maybe. Sunday is starting to look good though...

So Airnet isn't looking too good for Easterlies tomorrow morn, but ikite forecast is more optimistic. Whatcha guys think? I'm debating getting up early to check the wind and head to RR for dawn patrol if it looks good. Anyone else think it's worth getting up early?

East wind bulding to 20-24 in the west end of The Gorge.

A weak ridge builds in for Friday. This sets up easterly gradients through The Gorge. Stevenson and Rooster Rock should build into the 20-24 range by mid morning. Central and Eastern Gorge sites should be light. Coastal sites see weak offshore flow and light wind.

Aight, sounds good. I might not have internet tomorrow morning since I'm moving into a new place and the cable guy's coming later in the day. If it looks windy and someone's going for a dawn patrol can you send me a text? Word! Thanks for the support.

Just picked up my new 5'7" Fish. Got a quicky on the " woodie" today but need more!

Got a voice mail from Gman at 7:30 from the ponds. Said it was 7 or 9 conditions. i was pretty bummed to hear that. So even if it was good, lie to me and say it sucked.

Nice, I was kidding, I don't think you can have motor boats in Town Lake. Have you been hitting the cable any?

Got an annual pass to TSR, so been hitting it 2-3 days a week and wakeboarding a bunch.

Wind sucks down here now, waiting for 3rd coast to turn back on.
