There is. There's a trail you can hike in on. Look on Google Earth and the mouth of the Sandy. It's a long hike... I haven't done the hike, but somebody on here reported on doing it last year or the year before. I've launched there by boat, and it can be pretty fun. There's also the Camas launch which is the mouth of the Washougal at Hgwy 14. Looks like a better beach this year than in years past, but it might be mud too! Very Happy Lastly, there's Cottonwood in Washougal. If there's wind at Troutdale AMD there's some South in the wind (110 - 120) Cottonwood Beach can be good. You never really know till you get there. Usually, RR has to be Totally nuked out for Cottonwood to go.

I get consistently skunked at CW but I hear that it can be good. Lots of trees and islands and stuff for the wind to swirl around. The last time I was there the trees in the parking area were going crazy and when I got down to the beach...nothing.

the parking area is located within the port of camas/washougal industrial park.

Haven't been there in many years. Last time was on a 9 m C kite. It was very very cold. I remember getting lifted out of the water with my kite fully depowered!

Oh those were the days!
