Just got a killer session in last night on the mountain lake, can’t really believe I pulled it, super sketch launch. I’m up here for the week and hoped it would go and saw the wind blasting in the treetops.
Seen it blow out there on occasion but the planets never lined up. Got the girlfriend to drift launch in waist deep water…. Let it go!
Super stoked.

More Info As of 2:00 PM yesterday, the evacuation order for residents in Crescent Lake Junction area has been lifted. The area remains under a level 2 evacuation notice which means residents must be prepared to leave on a moment's notice. Highway 58 was also opened at 2:00 PM. Motorists are advised to watch for fire apparatus and travel with their lights on through the area due to smoke from the fire.
Status The Royce Butte Fire started in the afternoon of September 16, and is burning near the Crescent Lake junction with Highway 58. Office of State Fire Marshal task force personnel continue to protect structures.
