Hey NW Kite. Com,
We are looking for used mountain bikes, helmets, hydration packs, pads, gloves, and biking clothing.
Who is this donation for? At-risk kids attending school in HRVSD.
What are we doing with the bikes? Student's will be fixing bikes and then donating them to other kids who need them. After the students have worked a set amount of hours they will earn their own bike.

Didn't you mean to say "from a guy at Rooster Rock". 
Try some of the bike shops in Sun River. . .they are unloading bikes oh plenty this time of year.

If you have any old water mules please don't throw them out.
If you have any old biking shoes, pads, or helmets please donate them to our cause.

PS~The kids are really excited and have proved that they want to ride. On wed. I took two of them up to Post Canon and they rode all the way up to family man and loved it.
One kid did it on a fixed gear bmx bike!
I'll post some pics! These guys are going to be top condition for ski season this year.
I would like to thank all the people from the post who have donated stuff for these kids. I know that I have posted some stupid stuff and get a bit of crap for it, but the NWkite has been really cool about supporting this program.

So far we have a total of 4 donated bikes! All of which are in great shape and usable. We still need helmets, water bottles, and any old gear you may not be using.
The kids are having a good time riding the bikes at Post Canon. Much to my surprise the kids are motivated and enthusiastic about the 7 mile ride.
