It's on again! Looking at the Corbett sensor, around 25 - 27 on the water. Have fun!

No riding for me for a while. Oral surgery today. Sad

Hey Nak, I thought you had that done yesterday at RR by Dr. Clubby D. Chihuahua? Laughing

Nakster,

Where did you see 25-27 at Corbett sensor? I don't see it. It must have already shutdown. Crying or Very sad

I think Mike is extrapolating the data and giving you a real water wind speed.

Would love to go again... Actually NOT. I am beat..

On drugs and hurt, so bear with me... Confused anyway, corbett sensor is showing 31 now, press diff is holding at .1 PDX - The Dalles. So it's looking good for the near term. Probably about 30 up at the Ponds. I think it's going to shut down earlier today, but thats just a feeling. I think it will go light about 3?

I heard it was punchy up at RR yesterday. Reed island and the west half of the Nak Flats was a very smooth and solid 11m wind.

Thanks to funkysub for this sensor:

It's on the water between RR and Skamania Island. I've just started watching it; I think the gust factor on that sensor might be a pretty good indicator of steady state wind at RR.

I always assumed it blew more on the water at RR than the Corbett sensor. RR sensor is gusting to 19mph so it's probably blowing 10-15 more than that, but Troutdale is a WSW 5, which is weird so maybe Rooster isn't totally nuked out. In any case bring your 5-7m kites if you go Smile. It's hard to know exactly what's happening until you see it.
