Huge thanks to Barry and to another guy (didn't get his name). I yard saled at RR yesterday and, after trying to relaunch in the water for 20 minutes, I had to ditch board and kite as I was about ready to get pulled under. lines around my legs etc.
Barry got my board and drug my ass back to shore. I felt very manly!!! He then said, " That's what kiteboarding is all about, looking our for one another!"
Another guy saved my kite and almost beat me back to shore. Can't tell both of you how thankful I am. The kiteboarding community is killer.

Were you the one on the blue/orange kite?
If you were that guy, I saw your kite pinwheel, crash, pinwheel repeat. How come you didn't just safety release, and self rescue in? Just curious |
