Looks pretty shitty as of right now... Rooster's sensor is showing west, while Stevenson is east.

Tomorrow may be better, though only mid teens are forecasted.

I like this forecast better for Easterlies...

http://www.atmos.washington.edu/data/zone_report.KPQR.html

TODAY...SUNNY. HIGHS 80 TO 85. LIGHT WIND BECOMING EAST 10 TO 20 MPH WEST OF CASCADE LOCKS IN THE AFTERNOON.

TONIGHT...CLEAR. LOWS 45 TO 55. EAST WIND 5 TO 10 MPH EXCEPT 15 TO 25 MPH WEST OF CASCADE LOCKS.

SUNDAY...SUNNY. HIGHS 85 TO 90. EAST WIND 5 TO 10 MPH EXCEPT 15 TO 25 MPH WEST OF CASCADE LOCKS.

Plus, Airnet is forecasting E @ 10 for Troutdale tomorrow. I'm guessing good, but not nuclear, on Sunday. Maybe some decent winds later today, but that's a big maybe.

I was climbing at the ozone today, which is directly north of sand island, on the washington side just below highway 14. You can see the cliffs from RR.

At the top of the climbs you could look out at Sand Inland. pretty spectacular. I snapped some pics, I'll post them later. I could see a few kiters, but it look really light, i think.

Was at St.Helens for Taylor's football game. Wind was 10-14 out of the north at the field. Was wondering if Sauvie would go.

Mark

Ps Taylor's team creamed St.Helens 35-8

				Hey Kyle,

Where'd you get the beta for ozone wall? I've never climbed at RR before, but when we've been there to kite we've salivated over that wall w/o knowing what it was... is it bolted or trad?

thx

Ozone was supposed to be a secret for a while. Now I think PRG is about to release a guide for it.

If any of you are interested, I have some very well cared for trad gear that I would be willing to sell on the cheap. I replaced some of my gear after a smash and grab on my car and some of the tcu's have never even been placed.

I just can't find the time to be on the sharp end anymore
