Did anyone see my lame attempts at boosting Friday at SI?

If so, how high do you think I was (I'm talking feet).

Besides needing to loop the kite, of which I need to develope my nads for, can you give me some more pointers on landing those badbouys?

I think I was tired, so that didn't help matters. I didn't even get a board grab in, although in the past I'd have no problem.

That foils' lift is so tremendous, I'd hate to continue doing it injustice.

Any help will be appreciated. Don't worry, PMB and Phil taught me, this year, how to be a big boy on this forum and not react like an idiot when my feelings are hurt Crying or Very sad .

So.......................let me have it. Please Very Happy

Sorry I didn't see your attempts. I was probably too busy crashing and drinking river water to notice.

You were in good company there. My favorite way of injesting/inhaling river water is through the nostril/sinus sphincter. Rolling Eyes

Missed the jumps.... Too busy chasing MB's on the loose kite in the channel.

We did have fun trying to guess the number of pulleys on that foil bridel...

ya know, it's harder to land a boost gracefully in light wind, especially when you're learning. trying when you're more powered would make it easier, i'd say.

ooopsie. Embarassed Thanks for the retrieval. I tried a surface pass and let go of the bar and then I was like, hey? where is my kite going.

In my defense, nobody told me you have to actually CONNECT your leash to the kite in some fashion in order for it to work...

I saw one boost, I would say maybe 6 feet up, six feet straight down. You need to send your kite WAY WAY WAY earlier. Your just dropping out of the sky.

PMB, I'm thinking if I'm boosting in light winds, the only way I'll get that kite back in front of me is to loop it. Would you say that's right? If that's the case, I better do, what you already told me to do a couple weeks ago, quit being a pussy, and backloop it? Yes?

Thanks Kyle. It's good to know there was a reason for my ungraceful, frustrated attempts.

no, you don't have to loop it. The process should go something like this.

1. get in your car and drive to gorge performance (leave the wife at home)
2. Go in and buy 13 meter REV
3. Return to sauvie and try to jump.
4. At the apex of the jump, pull hard with your front hand to send the kite back in to the window.
5. Wow, that shit is easy!!

The down side is that you probably spend less time swimming....

I was afraid you were going to say that Wink .

In all fairness, you should take my foil for a reach, or at least for a beach Laughing .

I think you'd discover why I'm so addicted. Of course not as addictive as I am to the ladies, but you now what I mean.

I do like your advice, septa mrs would not be a happy glider if I racked up more on ye ole creddies. I better stop thinking about it RIGHT NOW!!!

Did you see any of my relaunches? Didn't have as many but I had a couple tacos that I relaunched!! And a couple quick revs.
