8-ball prediction on Sauvie? George saying low teen pop, airnet says mid teens. Tide at vancouver starting to flood at 2:30.

Brand new (for me) carbon fiber skimboard in my trunk... You would think that the skim and 14 T2 would be "unskunkable". Anyone going out?

Okay, I need some opinions as well. Wind looking good, but how does is the tide outlook going to effect riding conditions? Since it will be rising, I'm guessing that staying upwind isn't going to be fun. Confused

Find U tides say Ebb starts at 4:15 ---> http://www2.findu.com/cgi-bin/tide.cgi?tide=2625

But--I wouldn't worry about going out if I were you PDXMB. You've got better things to do. Laughing

last time I was there with the tide flowing east, 11m + glide, my light wind rig, I was barely able to stay up wind. It was still fun though....
just don't go with high expectations. sounds like it might be a good day to test that skim. I need a skim, too...

Hamlin, good to know that you will be out there. One thing I really want to try is to ollie over a channel marker. (or any other thing just floating down the river).

I was laying in bend last night thinking how cool it would be to bust a low kite loop with a skim.

Alright, I'm falling for it. Heading home from work now. Should be there by 4. If I have cell coverage (sometimes I don't out there) I'll update with an onsight.
