Are you already using Semidrys or is a full wetsuit enough?
Thanks

sealed 5/3 is what I wear. Booties/hood added in the winter
If its hot +75 at the coast I'll wear my 3/2 but it would get cold if you had to swim for a long period in that suit

5/3 full. I have a 4/3 but really its too cold. In the winter I wear my 3/2 shorty underneath it. I'm against dry suits, one puncture (from a fin, or rock, or anything else) and it fills with frigid water. You will get hypothermia quickly and a suit full of water will prevent you from being able to swim or kite to shore. Very dangerous in my opinion.

3 mm Patagonia.
No board shorts so you are super flexy.

Warmest suit I have ever owned. Warm as a 5 mm but flexy like a 3mm.
Has merino wool on the inside. Heats up even when it's wet.
They are coming out with a 4mm hooded in the winter that will be even more insane.

Picked up one of these Ripcurl Classic's 5/3 new for $80 (toasty compared to the 4/3 I was wearing)

$125 still seems like a good deal if you are a medium

rip curl classic? Jon, are you kiding me? I have a ripcurl classic that I soon found out that "classic" wetsuits back in the day leaked allot, were kind of restrictive, and leaked.

I bought an o'neil 5/4/3 mutant that has a hood that you can change to a neck collar. Freaking money suit. super warm and super stretchy. I got it on sale at Gorge p.

Cleanline surfshop has good deals on wetsuits (cleanlinesurf.com). The Rip Curl elasto skin (no zipper) was an awsome suit for me, I'll never go back to a suit with a full back zipper

We just started a 20% store credit sale on all our full wetsuits. Xcell, Oneill, and Rip Curl.
Example; Buy a $300 suit and get $60 back in instore credit. This sale goes thru our sidewalk sale happening saturday Sept 20th. Closeouts galore. Rail jam that saturday night down at Gorge .

@Stringer: Hi, yes I'm back for 2 days. Nice weather here! Today I was in Stevenson from 3.30pm to 5 pm with my 14. Nice session on flat water. Tomorrow most probably at the coast (Fort Stephens ...near Astoria). Where are you tomorrow?
