found: large white board at HR spit

Rescued a large white board at the HR spit today. I believe it was either Gaastra or Wipika. The foostraps and fins were "Chooch" brand.

It was just floating in the river with no obvious owner anywhere nearby. I left it right by the Royal slider (where small boats sometimes anchor.. there was one there today). I hope the owner found it or will find it now.

Thanks for recovery! Unfortunately, I did not find board or think to check this site until somebody told me about it today... Did anyone else pick it up? Thanks in advance.

Hi bvt,

Sorry I didn't bring the board back to the parking lot, or to a local shop. In the past, when I've rescued boards the owner had always been nearby.

I left it on high ground to prevent high water from taking it away, so it might still be there. The spot I was describing below is straight out from the "spit" parking lot. Let me know if you need more info about the location.

But also try 2nd Wind, since they do a good job of re-connecting gear with their owners.
