It would be really hard to pick KB of the year.. If I had to nominate someone it would be Tucker for just absolutely fucking charging it with total humility. Garrett for the obvious reasons..as if the guy didn't have enough on his plate.. or Diggy just cause I dunno, they guy came out of nowhere, was swimming ala go joe this spring and all of a sudden he's at the coast in huge conditions, competing in the blowout, and he is just smiling and stoked in general.

While I agree and Tucker knows my enthusiasum for his accomplishments(Well done Tucker! Well done!), I have to give it up to the hardcore locals that day in day out make it an absolute point to get on the water and push themselves to get better without all the neediness of community recognition. And do it low profile and humbly. And from an out of towner with a lot of Gorge water time this year, I have to give it up to a chick that continually was there everytime I turned around.

Holly gets my vote! Way to represent and push your personal riding skills. Tonia you were there as well on my nomination but you always win! Super woman!.. Smile

Good point BB, Holly has the right attitude and yells at me "straps are like training wheels pussy" everytime I see her but Diggy is everywhere! That guy charges hard and totally pimped out his hybrid with Caution stickers.....just for the stoke. Also, TonyB and BB himself..Wally Gator....had huge summers with a lot of miles and smiles riding hard the whole time. For volunteer hours, Boarderchick (Janet) was so key in why we all had so much fun IMO.

However, my vote goes to Barfly. I spent 2 hours with him last Friday and learned more about riding the Coast than I would have in 2 years......so my point is the list goes on and on and we are all winners as PKH stated but THE SUMMER IS NOT OVER YET!! (The caps were for Troll)

Bulae no more KBoTheYear posts in the middle of AUGUST!! The event calendar is lonely but a few days of rain and cold and everyone is winding up their lines??

Is the next kiter stampede really going to be the nwkite winter video party??? Don't those damn windsurfers have some end of year wind function we can R&D as our own so we can give that final push for $100k?
