Kiters are geniuses. Couldn't have found a better spokesperson for the sport or better publicity.
at least he sounds like big bird now.
"the first year I taught myself"...Geee? no shit....

Now health insurance won't cover kiteboarding injuries. Or it hasn't been covered since the start?? I think he is still blackout during the interview. Bad image to kiteboarding....'Going out during a tropical storm'

What a douche
You could of liked the guy if he just fessed up:
I got loaded with my buds and seemed like a good idea at the time - I was such a fuckin moron, sorry Mom, I'll try to do better but really I went to school in Florida what more can I say... _________________ Go Deep!

He is alive so he is lucky.
I don't think head trauma usually increases the IQ , so why not do it again.
His mom must take some pills.

Ya he should have listened to some random person on the net who whines about everything and adds a mean-face to all of his posts instead. _________________ Lets FLY

hey at least the entire kiteboarding universe now knows who this dumbass is, he's even got an email on his website! I wonder how long it took him to realize that maybe it was a bad idea to appear on television. I'd take this guy over him any day:

I wrote Good Morning America the following message:
Quote:
I would like to comment on the Kitesurfer story on behalf of the kitesurfing community. Every kitesurfer who has seen this video is outraged by Kevin's total disregard for safety and endangerment to others. Safety is the primary subject in professional kiteboarding instruction. His actions have seriously damaged the sport's reputation and public image. Kitesurfers are afraid this will lead to bans at public beaches. Please contact me to discuss this with a professional kitesurfing association.
500 character limit unfortunately.
I hope to bring them in contact with the CGKA if that is alright. Maybe that way we can undo some of the damage
