Got my scuba certification this weekend; it's way cool to see a whole new world just below the surface. There's a lot more down there than I ever imagined |

Somebody's gonna have fun with this quote. Since I'm now a responsible adult/parent, I'll defer to the forum for further input. |

Congrats, Spike - now you'll have to figure out how to bring kite AND scuba gear with you on trips. That's been a fun challenge for us with the bogus airlines weight and bag restrictions. What's really cool is that most of the kiting destinations are also world class Scuba spots, too. Last year, in a Cozumel windless week, we got some epic diving in. Have fun, but be safe. |

Spike,
Congratulations and don't stop - advanced diving, wreck diving, nitrox -- all that is a ton of fun and worth investing your time into when you're not KBing. |

Spike, Glad you have reached that point in life when you have "discovered" that there is more going on down there....
Are u Padi or Naui?
You should head to the coast and start enjoying the diving we have. Also Edmunds (just north of Seattle) has a great underwater park. Very easy diving with several wrecks and a large drydock frame to check out. You will want to get as much cold water diving in as you can. Once you start going warm you will not be so interested in cold water anymore. I would not worry about bringing any dive gear on your warm water trips. These days any good dive spot will have good rental gear. Remember to be honest in your abilities when you go on vacation so the dive master can take you to a area you will be comfortable and get the most out of your experience.
Once again congrats. _________________ Cleverly disguised as an adult...
