It's looking like I'm going to have to go to the Coast. Does anyone have a good call on North forecast. So far it looks like a central and southern day may be the call, but I prefer to hit Ft. Stevens.

Any advice would be helpful.

Very Happy

Big hot triple digits changes currently underway Pacific Northwest this evening as the last vestiges of cool westerly flow fade away for a couple of days. Waiting in the wings sits a huge bubble of hot air guaranteed to cook your ass for sure if you are stuck at work in pdx your screwed as rising fast this rare heat wave drys out your ass and most of Southern CA along with a supporting upper level ridge spread across both sides of the Cascades. As this ridge continues building into place THUR, while your sitting at work in pdx., or da hood, your still screwed and very hot while we're at the coast kiting and your thinking about your next trip to bathroom, we are going to see air temps spike while low level winds shift to mild easterly thru the Western Gorge making your mind wander as east winds float the folks at stevenson and the crew at the OR Coast. The Coast remains an excellent choice once again on THUR however, as cool NW'erly sea breezes sharpen their stance and push quickly into the 20s all locations you are scheming of a way to get off work and possibly make the trip to the coast.

I rode my 5m yesterday for about 2 hours nicely powered with chest to head high swell. Pretty choppy though.....but with that much wind you can't expect glassy waves. The swell had a lot of North to it too, so for regular footers it was an awesome backside wave to crank of the lip.
I can't wait to get back down there!
