I did it  I got my first (almost) controlled starboard ride on Sauvie Island today And it only took 14 months to get there. I am so happy it happened, especially on this day, a second anniversary of moving to Portland NW rocks 
I feel like Mike Wazowski yelling: Did ya see that  Did ya

I swear everytime I passed you it took all my strength not to yell "Goooooo Joeeeeee" not to be a dick, but that is just the response they elicit from me.
Congrats on the new skills. I do believe Kramer also helped someone get their first ride as well. I can still remember the excitement of that very first time being up and riding. Good stuff.

I must have missed that - but I did see Kramer's kite have a mid air collision with another kite - got a good response from the peanut gallery

I always want to do that too it just an awesome name. Like month ago I yelled "Goooo Joeeee" and the dude fell over I felt like the biggest ass . Still so hard not to yell it.

Don't you need wind for a Go-Joe to work? Thus defeating the purpose of its use at SI?
