slightly crappy with a chance of shitty.
Upper level trough moved eastward overnight bringing higher pressure to the Pacific NW this morning both aloft and at the surface. Models plot a rather flat gradient profile across the Gorge early in the day. Onshore flow steepens a little bit thru the PM as Pacific High sharpens up along the OR Coast but only reach the mild to moderate range, mainly in the Central / NearEast Gorge.
Rooster Rock to Home Valley: Slow AM start but light westerlies begin to rally by early PM and should reach W12-16.
Viento to Mosier: Weak AM winds but remain slanted westerly. Breezes build into the W14-18 range between Event Site and Bingen, could push W16-20 Swell / Hatch.
Rowena to Arlington: Slow AM westerly flow eventually reaching low teens in the PM.
Jones Beach Cool, cloudy and rather UP / DOWN west winds in the 10-14 range.
Sauvie Island: NW wind in the 4-8 range.
Coast: Light westerly AM, slow turn NW'erly in the PM w/ low teens along N / S Coast. West swell 4 feet at 10 seconds. |

Jeez, anything NW is starting to sound good to me. Maybe I should rig one of my paragliders on a bar and go for it. I think my biggest wing is a 27M. _________________ Lets FLY |
