Jake and I are looking at either trying to snowkite Delta park or setting up the winch and some sliders locally. (ummm.. not in the water)
Post up if your interested and we'll get everyone together. |

I'd hit it, but I've been up for 36 hours... Driving down from SEA was fu%^ing crazy. Idiots driving 70 mph on glare ice... Was kind of funny, I'd pick the ones I thought I'd see in the ditch later. I was right most of the time. |

just got back from hitting up fernhill park in NE portland. The slider was..ummm..Dumb so we put the kites in the air.
I got a couple of midly amusing tacks with my B3. Jake got on his 6m for some cautious runs and Blake got lofted while launching the 5m. Decided it was just too gusty to make it worthwhile. Kiting in 5 to 35k can be a little challenging. |

| I live a block from Fernhill and have been watching/waiting for the right conditions since this stuff started. Walked over to scout things out last night around 9:00, considered giving it a shot, but things looked pretty gusty/unpredictable to put a kite up solo considering the trees/fences that are downwind. Wish I would have caught you guys giving it a shot, but it sounds like I made the right decision. |
