So it's looking good for the near term. Probably about 30 up at the Ponds. I think it's going to shut down earlier today, but thats just a feeling. I think it will go light about 3? I heard it was punchy up at RR yesterday. Reed island and the west half of the Nak Flats was a very smooth and solid 11m wind. I've just started watching it; I think the gust factor on that sensor might be a pretty good indicator of steady state wind at RR. genek Since 21 Jul 2006 2165 Posts East Po KGB Tue Sep 16, 08 10:36 am     I always assumed it blew more on the water at RR than the Corbett sensor. RR sensor is gusting to 19mph so it's probably blowing 10-15 more than that, but Troutdale is a WSW 5, which is weird so maybe Rooster isn't totally nuked out. In any case bring your 5-7m kites if you go .
