It's light right now, but might pick up later... Anyone up for it if it goes off? I'm thinking 1:00 or 2:00.

Yeah! Looks like the East wind will be in control for a few days. I bet it's 16able right now with the RR sensor reading 5.

Seems like the nicest sessions are when you catch the East wind coming or going. Once it's here, it's blasting! Will head out at 2pm if I can...

Thumb's Up

It's sunny, Rooster sensor G16, Corbett G14, and forecast to increase! Very Happy I'll be leaving in about 10 minutes, & be at Rooster at about 1:30...

It actually wasn't bad in a drysuit... I never felt cold. I started on an 11m Rev and a glide. I was struggling to stay upwind so I switched to my 14 T2 and my regular board. Plenty of power with the T2. Tom was doing fine with his 9m Helix, but I'm carrying more weight than he is. (I've lost 23 pounds since August, but I still have a ways to go...) Beautiful day at Rooster. It was blowing a bit stronger when I got there at 1:30, but lightened up as the day wore on. I measured it at 16 G 20 when I first got there, but it was definitely stronger as you got away from shore. Still plenty of beach at the volleyball courts, but pretty sketchy at the stairs.

Great fun riding with a great crew! Too bad we're losing Shay to the Texans.

Water level is fine at the Volleybal court, sketchy elsewhere.

I'm thinking about a noon session. Anyone else thinking that early?

I'm in.

Chris- water level yesterday still left plenty of room to rig beyond the brush.
