| That sucks ass. Kraemer and I stood on the beach around noon and decided not to go out. Just looked crazy out there!

| Cottonwood is good if anyone wants to get out. Sneaked about 30 minutes on my 10 before heading home for TG dinner should have rigged the 7.

Got something to be thankful for today...
Had to talk a Rancher into letting me onto his property, a few gates, cows, and creek hops later.. Happened upon my kite and board nestled nicely behind a few bushes sitting there perfect. A little dirt on the LE but otherwise in perfect shape.
It sat there all night in the nuking winds but because of how it landed it just sat... could have just as easily been eviscerated on the nearby trees and shrubs.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Glad you got a session in!
Was the wind fluky at all? Could you have ridden further downwind, or did the wind die off just west of the beach? Just trying to figure this spot out... Thanks!

Their is a big wind shadow 'til you get round that sandy point. I walkd upwind a couple of hundred metres to give myself a bit of a downwind buffer and could easily stay upwind. Wind was a lot stronger on the island side of the channel. My kite was too big - 10m but it didn't seem too gusty, it has been really gusty when i've tried there in the past.
