So......I'm all packed up and ready to roll to some exotic, wind-swept locale and looking for a read on the vibe. Is anyone hitting up the Northern Coast within the next couple hours or so? Looking for some riding mates.....otherwise gonna just have to hit up Sauvies or the Gorge again. |

I once heard of a conch shell underneath a bridge in Seaside, when you blew into it the sound would resonate through the coastal waters and summon the River Troll... |

Seriously though, just head to sunset and hit that coastal goodness! if you drive far enough up the beach you will probably see downwinders in progress, hop on board, promise gas money, I think they'll be cool with it. |

Usually no problems finding rides. Wind and waves are looking good today. |

The wind and waves were so good I had to sail at parking lot B for an hour, then downwind to Seaside. 16 mile downwinder with Wind Slither on 12m C's; the wind was consistent all the way down. Tuesday was the same but settled for sunset to seaside. Clatsop is alreay 17 from the N right now, see ya out on the waves! |
