Any tips or trick on preventing my kite from inverting when I crash (besides keeping line tension)?

Keep the kite moving, don't let go of the bar unless your getting yanked too hard, or tomahawk it then relaunch?

Make sure you inflate the leading edge very hard, this will helpl it keep its shape in gusts.

Some kites just invert better than others. My old kites would invert pretty much any time the lines went slack. So if I did a bad jump and the lines went slack for more than a second I was body dragging back to shore. My new kite doesn't invert ever. So for me the solution was a better (i.e. more modern) kite. I'm sure even with current generation kites some invert more often than others.
