Now I'm wondering what kind of board I should get to really get into it.
Also I could use some info on some beginner friendly spots.
Thanks |
Canoes in Waikiki, you'd have to dodge boards from people dodging boards, but it is a soft spot.
Make it easy on yourself. Don't worry about a shortboard first. Something with volume and a little length.
Don't drop in on people, and have fun. |

I'd go with 9'6" minimum. Anything smaller and you risk drowning..... maybe just me. surfing is core. |
