Since when is 38 old? Tybo busts back mobes still and I am sure there are many riders over 40 doing them. Just remember to spin super fast and you got it. |

In High school a buddy of mine and I wanted to ride Mountain bikes. Thing is, there wasn't any such thing. I'd never even heard of riding a bike on a trail, but it seemed like a good idea! We got some old 1 speed Schwinns, built like tanks, and started riding trails and doing backpacking trips with the things. Man, we got some weird looks. Shit, they must have weighed at least 50 pounds each. That wasn't the worst though; chain brakes were the worst. Imagine hauling ass down a hill and having your chain break. No second source of braking. Couple days in the hospital and a month in bed dampened my enthusiasm for pioneering the not yet existant sport of mountain biking! |

By the way. Just want to add one thing, IMO that these tricks aren't legit unless you can stick them in choppy water. It's one thing to throw down in perfect shallow flat water, it's a completely different game to stick advanced wakestyle tricks in deep, cold, crap chop water and gusty wind. So props to NW kiters for doing as well as they do. |

I know I've been feeling a bit old and thinking a backmobe is a trick I might not ever get a chance to land. I don't normally like videos of dudes in straps but I can see past this with this video and focus on the point. No more excuses! A backmobe is a great goal for this season... Who's with me?

Don't make it any harder than it already is! I don't ride unless the water is flat.
