I would be very interested to hear the path of logic which led you to conclude that this issue has anything to do with capitalism.
It is too bad things like this are not dealt with quickly and quietly. Had that chunk of lumber been floating down the river 20 feet further out it would be somewhere down river. Make it so
If there is a permit required, I am going to guess that the motivation for requiring a permit was not meant to encompass this situation. |

All that's needed is a wrongful death lawsuit after someone kills themselves on this ugly, stupid thing. But don't worry too much about this, on the other side of the rock is a new metal cable connected to the fishing nets that will surely do some damage or kill someone.
BTW, they sprayed the blackberry bushes around the Port of Skamania building with something very toxic (there's no signs posted).... I would try and avoid that area for awhile?
Ahhh, isn't Stevenson a wonderful place.

| I'm going to post an update on Stevenson in a new thread. Basically this dock is way too big for amateurs trying to move it. The Port is going to take care of it in the near future. Until that time The CGKA recommends that you avoid launching/landing at this spot. |

I know how it is. I scan Google news a few times a day and half the time I see these really weird headlines then when I reread it is something completely different. Just moving a bit too fast!
