We burn about $25/hour surfing behind our boat.
That lake makes a much nicer wave but I think I'd miss the high we get from breathing exhaust fumes all afternoon.

in diesel terms, 700kw is about 50-60 gallons per hour.
Hopefully they can get it from a grid, maybe even a so-called "green" source.
