After a long stretch with low and sporadic wind...Oahu is back with a vengeance. The wind has been on since Saturday...I've been riding 7.5 cult / 9 helix Weekend through next week looks pretty much like epic....I've seen a lot of cheap flights lately so pick up your CC and boardshorts and come to Oahu..it might be cold here, but it is a good kind of cold... I'm planing a trip around the end of March and am hoping for forcasts just like these when I get to Kailua. Hopein to see some tasty waves as well. See you them Tautologies. In addition it is El Nino year which should bring less wind. It can be epic..and it can be good for surf. The waves have been hammering the island all winter though so you'd pretty much be guaranteed some waves. Generally I'd say bring the big guns...bring them all. Right now you'd be lit up on a 10. To say it this way..my view over Waikiki I am looking at pretty much a solid white ocean. Come over with a a ton of alternatives, there is a lot of things to do here. I'll see you over here. Alex ps.
