One step forward, two steps back. Although I'm keeping a full court press on-- "Sometime" & "not yet" & "sit tight" are words of the day. I was enthusiastic for an install this spring, but after my latest inquiry--not so much.

An unobstructed well placed sensor would be great, but a lot of times the window of "real good" is just a couple of hours. If you wait until the sensor says it's working, then you might not arrive until too late anyway.
As the old saying goes, "If you don't go, you won't know (until you read the posts later that night)".
For those like me who live relatively close to the island, and if its the only site you could possibly get to after work anyway, I say you should always go for it and bring beer for back-up.
It's always better to hang out by the river in good company and get skunked sometimes than to stay home and do yard work or other projects anyway right?

Stevenson sucks major ASS!
The launch is so SKETCHY! Thats where numerous people have got really bad hot launches and got really hurt. Remember Danglers broken ankles.
No way man that place is not worth going to, its just too dangerous. Even when it gets windy its so punchy and gusty.
Your much better off going to Sauvies and drinking and kiting.

IDK, I hear Stevenson is the shit and everyone is going there on weekdays this summer instead of Sauvies. I heard a rumor that Slingshot is gonna have a perpetual keg party at launch. Lol.
