				| SI put out for a 9:45pm - 12:30am session. The full moon was so cool. I would still be out on the water if I didn't need to go to work at 7am | |

				| At 5:30, Gman had had his 7 out, I saw one girl body dragging on a 5m , and then it quickly subsided to 12m-14m with on-shore wind.. Mediocre 'til Crazy-C showed up--

				| Details: The wind was NNE. I was out on a 14 and twin tip and Shep was out on a 13 and surfboard. It was just us and two lovely spectators. The wind picked up as the night went on. I could have been out on a 7m at midnight. Lots of big ships that can sneak up on you in the dark. We had glow sticks on the kites and boards, worked well with the moonlight. Our photographer got some beach shots then got cold. The water was warm. Gene K I called you put your agent said you don’t have time for the little people.

				| IR's worthless for stills. It'd take waaaay too many IR "lights" or waaaay too much exposure.
I think you'd be better off with some powerful strobes, or some big HMIs... but then it'd just look like daylight. haha

Yeah, I know the IR route would flop. Dang! I was thinking of the possibilities for night photography and a flash/strobe would just be too, well, obvious...and I couldn't come up with anything more interesting. Oh well, it tickled my brain for a bit.

				| how about long exposures with just an incandescent bulb. So instead of a sequence you have a time-smudge (to use the technical term) | |
