I've been hanging on to this 12' Mistral Pandera sailboard for 15 years. Now I know why. Endless hours of fun (even more fun than trying to rail ride Laughing ). Everybody's doin' it.

Oh man... I'm still working on the stand up part... Rolling Eyes I'll be ready next summer... Razz

Got some board time over the 4th in San Diego (Marine Street La Jolla). Even saw a 4ft shark swim through people wading in 2ft of water!! Shocked

Also, learning how to work the wench… Wink

PS some times it pays to "pack-rat" gear... Thumb's Up

Slater you may want to wait a while before you "learn how to work the wench..." or as we call it.... DATING

Now if you want to learn how to work the "winch", thats ok at your age Wink

Don't listen to him little man! There is no day like today! By the looks of it your doin just fine

Looks like the kids are having a good time on the SUP, great option for those who don't kite! Respect to those who can ride in the waves, I found out this weekend its not so easy.

Slate, when are you going to get your mom and dad out here? Winds been good and the kids want to meet you. We'll be in PDX & the gorge too a few times in the next several weeks, hope to see you there.

My 40th bday was yesterday. The family got me a 'real' SUP that says "Laird" on it. Must be good. Great fun on the Necanicum in windless and warm Seaside. It will also be a hoot on light wind days kiting. Soft top for all the kiddies to play on.

I just grabbed that Laird board from 2nd Wind for a demo last weekend, it's a really good board. I like the soft-top, keeps the arches of my feet from aching after several hours of paddling... We were strolling down the Columbia for about three hours.

That's part of the workout dude and it flattens my pinhead carrying it to the beach Laughing . You have to always leave a little extra in the tank to get the boat back home.

Thanks for the bday wishes everyone. Ben, lets hookup soon!!
