I've had to break up with a guy who didn't kite. He just didn't understand that dinner could not be at a fixed time if it was windy in the summer Smile

That's awesome. Nothing can really be scheduled when it's windy. How hard is that to understand?

I've never had to break up with anyone because of kiting. I'm very open and clear about the situation from the beginning so they know what's up. Guess it would be harder with a family, especially if you have to drive far to kite. I tried teaching one of my gf a couple times, but not at the best locations and on C-kites so it didn't quite take. Got her into snowboarding a bit though which was cool. If I was gonna get a wife I'd probably want her to kite before I tied the knot. Just seems to make things way easier.

From now on I'm going to have a dating contract that all future girlfriends must sign. Among other things they will state that they either know how to kite/snowboard or will learn in the next 12 months, and that they submit to a background and credit check. So sick of the broke-ass chicas....
