Epic times kiting with the NWKite folks. Very cool bunch people and some really great kiters. It was like surgery working through the surf with all the rippers stacking out right next to ya. Everybody was stoked and it was heavy! See you next weekend in the Gorge. Look a lot more like a kiter than a surfer. Really leaned back and relying a lot on the harness to keep me up. Gene's photo looks way better... kind of makes sense being unhooked helping you get your balance and leaning forward more. Surfers are usually leaned forward right? Makes sense that being unhooked would naturally sit you forward a bit. Its kind of like how being unhooked makes sliders easier. Anyway just thoughts as I ice down the knee. Super epic weekend.
