I'm leaving from beaverton around 4:00 - anyone need a ride? I don't want to be drinking by myself when Sauvie decides she's just messing with us and not going to put out.

I just got an onsite from the spike sensor - he says its whitecapping. I'm rolling out in 15 minutes.

Yeah I gave the "you need speed, not big kites for good jumps" approach a try. It worked pretty well, but it's really hard to hold an edge at that speed in all that chop.
Also got a bit more unhooked practice in, likely to the amusement of the beach crowd.
