Hey everyone, Just had a brand new red/black 08 slingshot 9m Rev stolen from my car On Mon 9th at LA Fitness parking lot in Gresham, Oregon.

I know it's a long shot but I thought I get the word out. If anyone knows or hears anything I will GREATELY appreciate it! Haven't even flown it once, still in its original packaging!

To all of you out there who keep their expensive toys in their cars, make sure they're not visible...I sure learned my lesson the hard way.....Thanks!

OUCH!! Dude, I am sorry to hear that. I'm sure everyone will keep a lookout. File a police report for sure in case it pops up.

There is task force that takes calls from all pawn shops daily about items that are potentialy stolen. Call the PD in Gresham and ask the detective to give you that number. In the mean time post it as stolen on Craigs list with a pic.

Theft sucks! It's going to get worse with higher gas prices as low income will have to choose between food and gas. Thanks W.

Two of the pump islands were cone'd off last weekend at my local gas station. When I asked them if it was because of a late fuel delivery they said no. It turns out that they'd had two different people gas and dash without paying that day and with the pump's hoses still in their tanks.

Pretty soon they'll need armed station guards.

How long till we're living mad max for real?

Sorry to hear about your kite man

But everybody needs to chill out over this gas thing, its $8/gallon in europe, they aren't eating eachother over there are they? I bet they are laughing at us right now how were making such a big deal about it.

Yes, gas costs $4+/gallon, get over it.

They may not be eating each other but I just saw a huge truckers strike were they stoped hauling and are using their trucks to block roads. Make sure You put the word out in that area. I had my truck broken into a couple of years ago they pulled out a kite and looked thru it but left it in the parking lot. I think they thought it was a backpack and after they looked in it they ditched it.

DancingWind, sorry to here about your kite man....That sucks...Revs are the shizzel.
I bet the asswhipe who stole it, was thinking he was getting a nice backpack for camping/hiking...
Anyways, did you have insurance...? (Based on your policy) W/ the cost of a broken window and a new Rev, you might be able to get part of it back-if not, most of it back...
If you have no insurance or just liability, you might be screwed...
Anyways, hope you get your kite back...

I've been worried about this for a little while now, once the meth heads figure out how much kites are worth and how relatively vulnerable they are, we won't be able to leave them anywhere.

GASOLINE FUELED MAYHEM!!!

It's funny how this is such a surprise to people, I mean really is your head that far in the sand? You mean to tell me that there is a limited supply of the decaying remains of plants and animals that lived 100's of millions of years ago? Shocked

I'm sorry to say it but in terms of human history, we live in the golden age, our children however are going to live in a world that looks and operates much differently than it does today.

OK, so you will drive less, carpool, etc, etc, blah blah blah. The big bummer is that oil is in almost EVERYTHING these days. and those things are going to get REALLY expensive. I recently read a study that showed how modern agriculture uses 10 calories of fossil fuel to create 1 calorie of food.

Kind of scary but in the end, the walmarts will likely disappear along with the far flung suburbs.

knowledge is power so gobble some up... http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/

crap, never really thought about the impact on agriculture... I bet it would take a solar-powered tractor a month to plow a field, asuming it's sunny of course Sad

So I walk out of Trader Joes in NW the other day and see a homeless guys with a Best 11m Waroo bag. I played dumb and I was like cool bag do you have any more you want to sell. He was so drunk and I am not sure if he spoke English or not Shocked . The bag was pretty old maybe a 06 or 07 waroo bag but if anyone lost one go check Trader joes.

Very interesting to see a homeless dude with a waroo bag.

Sucks about that Rev, we will keep an eye out for it.
