To our outstanding Gorge Kiteboarding Community..... The CGKA has arranged the permits for us to have a quick cleanup of the HR Sandbar while we are having the Corps of Engineers lower the river for our demo day. Please join us from 9:00 until 11:00 at the Spit and Sandbar to remove the logs that have appeared over the winter. Please bring your 4X4 pickups, SUVs, Jeeps etc. and chainsaws, chains, and cables to drag logs. With enough people we should be able to make short order of the wood out there and collect some wood for our warming fire for our BBQ after the demo day.
And - of course please join us for our first annual CGKA demo day after the cleanup. Most of the major kite manufacturers will be attending to provide demos of their kites, boards, etc. It should be a great day!

Count me in. Just moved here from NH and already there is a clean up/bbq/rail jam. I think I'm gonna like it here

Well, I couldn't get ahold of my friend with the monster truck this year. I've sent messages to others, but have had no response. At least we don't have a huge mess this year to clean up! I'll be down there no matter what helpin out and havin a good time!
