Thanks, Pkh. One idea for streamlining the contest is we could all vote on the best photo for the "Pro" category, and the winner could be the judge of all the amateur shots. What do you think? Tonski

Yup that was a sweet weekend for sure. Thumb's Up

T - I like the idea of having everyone vote and post their opinions on different photos so I want to try that for both, but maybe we should do one before the other so as not to cause confusion.

LawnMM - nice one, who painted it?

I tried to get away from the Kite Spit as much as possible this year - pushing new perspectives and images. The cliffs of the eastern Gorge became my haunts for much of July and August. It was so nice..not another soul in sight except for me and the rider(s).

Squamish was a challenge. Nuclear wind and pretty frigid waters in Howe Sound. The girls worked hard, going out for a photo session even when conditions were S&*$...Bri works for the camera, with a cool oil tanker in the background. Backdrop made these...

Climbing off the cliffs and heading to the water is where it's at..anyone can watch kiting from the shore, but that decisive moment in the water is my favorite place to shoot. Joe attacks the Columbia River at Sunset in the eastern Gorge. Check out KBMAG.COM for Joe's story..awesome guy and innovative rider.

Watch out for Clinton Bolton..a great rider already and a solid, innovative kiter. I was jinxed by the Wind Gods this season, but still managed to come away with a few good sessions. This was an out take from last month's cover shoot for The Kiteboarder magazine.

O.K..not nearly as spectacular as the Mobe sequence, but this was the last light of the day and it was just one of those days on the water where everything was damn near perfect. Ruben Lenten staring me down..

On any given day, you can probably find Dylan on the water. We go way back..he was the first rider I ever let come in up wind of me and jump me..I think he was 13 at the time. He's come a long way since those days..we connected for a shoot this summer on his new all white Matrix kites (totally dope kites), and with the Moe board graphics...bling, bling, bling..

One last pic for now..Squamish is amazing. We shot for three days from shore and boat. Wind was a bit sketchy one our last outing, but still had epic light and the backdrop is second to none. I have to give a quick shout to Riccitelli..Thanks for supporting my photography...The Kiteboarder is the soul of kiteboarding and I'm stoked to share these images..let me know what you think..
