I'll throw in on a house or camp, whichever happens. See you Friday, ride Saturday and Sunday!

If anyone thinks they could use a wave runner out there let me know if you can tow.

Looks like Carol found and reserved a place in Seaside, 1/2 block off the beach that will sleep 8.

See here for details: http://www.beachhouse1.com/detail.asp?property_id=187

Looks like it is ok to have bonfires and beer out on the beach where the house is. (that's what the landlady says anyway).

It's reserved for Friday and Saturday, $190 a night. PM Carol (carolb) if you want in. We'll figure out the cost per person once we know how many are in for sure. Let Carol know if you want a room or a futon, coming for Friday and Saturday or just Saturday night.

Tony

Hope you don't mind that I took off running with this Steve but I'm excited to party and ride with the coast crew.

Here's the location of the place I got. Hey locals, where should we do the bon fire? On the point? The house is only a few lots from the beach and 2 blocks from the tip. Looks we can have a ping pong contest as there is a ping pong table in the garage. Any place to buy rum or shop P-town?

Better use the ping pong table as god intended for Beer Pong. I hear Phil does really well if he's drunk enough Wink

Ahhhhh Exclamation Exclamation The Invasion Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

Sounds like a grand 'ol time. There's liquor stores and bars just like the big city. Just bike down the prom and stagger home... or ride home, staggering (bring some bikes, I gotta few loaners too. Bonfires can go anywhere but walking out to the "point" probably not necessary, you have to CARRY all the wood you want to burn and that map doesn't quite show the number of meters you're gonna walk.

I'm gettin a keg fo sho.

I'm at 13th & Franklin - stop bye. You'll know b/c there's a f#*king Low-liner in my yard Laughing Laughing and a TROLL Twisted Evil right under the 12th St. bridge.

Carol,

count me in....However, I don't plan to sleep inside the house...
I rather just pass out in the back of my truck...
So all I need is a space to park within stumbling distance from the house...
So I guess maybe a parking spot won't be an issue...
Anyways, should be fun....

Hi everyone, quick update this morning. I'll post more details in a while but I'm super swamped with work at the moment.

Looks like we have 7 for Friday night and 8 for Saturday. Still room on the floor for one or two more. Room for the late night stumblers as well.

We'll be heading out from Stevie around 3 or 4 on Friday. Probably wont make it in time for any kiting on Friday but we'll be ready to go Saturday morning. Depending on what our kids decide to do we may have room for one or two in our van if someone needs a ride.

Carol

Here is the latest:

Meet at the Summer House in Seaside sometime in the morning.

http://summerhousethe.qwestoffice.net/

Please bring some food.

If your last name starts with A-F bring an appetizer
G-L Bring a salad
M-R Bring a main dish
S-Z bring desert

We will have some of the coast's finest wind gurus there, so with their help we will determine where the best wind will be. After lunch, we will head out.

We can do the bonfire in the evening once we get some dry clothes on. Then hang out in the various accommodations.

Here is a map to the Summer House:

Waking up to blue skies and briny breezes this morning! Whooo-hoooo!

You never know, but it feels like it should blow into the evening....high tide will be around 6ish...so there should still be a great session right out front of 16th when you guys roll in.

Just got word from Glen10 that him and Laura from SS will be down at the Lincoln city kite festival tomorrow doing trainer kite classes and demos. They'll be at Devil's Lake

He's going to try and make it to Seaside on Sunday if it's kiteable to offer Rev and SST demos.

If you'd like to take advantage of the opportunity and try out some new gear, his number is 425-four four two-6439
