Hello everybody on the forum.

Just wanted to apologize for asking for the Brand Comparisons in my previous post on this Forum.
Apparently it is not the right thing to do.
Sorry about that. Did not know that until after I posted it.

Gavin

You were okay until you mentioned the word 'brand' in two separate posts. This appears to be a flagrant violation of nwkite statute 420.311 with a mandatory sentence of polesmurfing...in mast high closeouts.

Dude no worries. If you have a particular question about a particular kite thats cool. There are a lot of people with experience here willing to share it.

But the bottom line is - you should try and take it for a test ride before you buy it. The same gear can feel totally different to two different people.

Don't worry about it. At least you aren't a kook, that'll come after another couple posts! The forum is typically friendly, all rainbows and unicorns...you can research those disturbing threads for yourself. Anyway, welcome. The fact that you're taking lessons first will more than offset almost starting a dreaded 'vs' thread.

Don't sweat it... its not like there is a big disclaimer saying its not okay so people usually bring it up once every month or so. Just think of it as initiation, welcome to the forum! Very Happy

You should ask about comparisions on the different brands. Some are better than others on quality or price or reputation etc. Glad that you are taking a lesson. Never said that about any other sport......
