That is hardcore to be out in 50 degree water and less than that air temp in Ruben's skimpy wetsuit. He must have balls of steel to survive those kiteloops and the freezing cold.

I was out in Manzanita around 4pm Sunday. I saw Tucker when I launched. I forgot my seven so pumped my 5m. My girl friend took this shot. Here is another from Florence. winds gusting to 50+. The windsurfers were scared, and harassing me for pumping a kite. It was a great birthday weekend.

what's kiting in 50+ like? I would think all the flying pigs would be too distracting...

| 50 is fairly common for winter sessions in the gorge. the worst part is trying to get back up wind in a side shore blow. had to walk up. at least it was steady. had lots of fun. was punished a bit for using such a small kite at Manz. had 15 minutes only for my session before being late to a meeting. Over did it a bit. It was like kiting in fast forward

The rasta ones are new prototypes...
I'm sure he'll still be on his black/white/grey, very simpo, '08s for a while though!

With the new Fuel 2010 coming out soon, I was searching and found these nice pics from last year.
-Does the 09 Rasta Prototypes have the same cut as the 09 Production?
-Rasta pattern is so cool, is it too expensive to produce?
-I'm guessing 2010 will have the same profile as 2009?
