Where did you guys launch from when you went to Washougal?
Its closer to home for me, and I don't have a small enough kite for rooster nukage.
Closer is great for tomorrow since I still have to go to work.

Just did a quick search, and I'm pretty sure there was another map, but here's one that Henry did.

"Todays spot" is the Camas bridge. I realize that you need the right kite, Andrew, but I don't think you're going to have much fun at Cottonwood ("yesterday's news"). When the wind's true EAST, that place is shitty-punchy. Not just the standard Gorge gusts we're all used too either. Maybe you could get it though.

I mostly just don't have too much time for tomorrow and would like to grab a quick session before work.
The closer the better
"today's spot" is maybe 10 minutes from my house.
I've always wondered how it would be to kite there driving by it on the way to Stevenson.
It'll probably be harder to get my brother out of bed to come with me than to actually get a sesh there. Rolling Eyes

8:00 PM water level: 19.4 feet. That's about 5 feet higher than last time... Sad No beach at Camas, Washougal or RR, unless the water drops A LOT tonight. Stevenson Saturday maybe? Water levels may drop by Sunday at RR...

Water temp up to 48.7. 1.3 to go to 50. Woo Hoo!

The dock launch at Dalton is a bit sketch, but it should be above water I imagine. Not sure how high the water got up the launch though. If someone launches you it shouldn't be a problem. Let's hope the wind is good Smile

Rooster was gusty and worked me good today, overpowered on a T2 9M. Thanks GeneK for dropping my board downwind when I had lost it, I owe you some frosty beverages of your choice.

Nice showing of folks at RR.

Saw this in the morning paper (The Columbian section C). I thought I would share it. Looks like some of you guys were out yesterday.

No prob Diggy. Glad you made it in OK. You looked like you were lit out of your mind on that 9m. Just pass the favor along and I'm sure it'll all even out eventually. I've had my share of kites and boards saved by other kiters.

PS Although if I see you with an extra frosty beverage I won't turn you down Wink

Thanks GENEK for use of the LF harness - looks sweet, but actually I didn't get on the water w/ it. Do you prefer your Mystic over this one. Just curious, I'm looking for a harness to replace my 06 LF. - Chris
