I weigh 155. I'm looking for 135X40 approximately. $250 is probably my limit.
Thanks,
kyle

i'm not sure a 135 is going to be a good light wind board for you...
I'm 145lbs, i use a fuse, it's a 149, the glide is a 151 I think. Anyway, granted 135 would be a large freestyle for your size, 135 isn't all that big.

I would agree with TinyE. If you are looking for a light wind board a 135 might not be big enough.

If your on a budget you could make your own plywood glide board. I made mine for like $50.

word, thanks for the tips. I've only ever kited on the busted-up old school board that I have now. it's 135 but really skinny and I'm usually able to keep kiting in pretty light stuff, so I thought that just a bit wider would help a lot. but that advice sounds good, too. I bascially don't know what i need and should demo some boards probably. I talked to one guy with a Nobile 666 that was 137X44, and he said it was outstanding in light wind, so that's kinda what I was basing the post on...
I like the idea of building on in principle, but I dont even have the tools...

Kyle one other option not sure price wise but you could check into a skim board. It's one of my favorite things to ride on light wind days. I think you can get them pretty cheap.
